Goalkeeper Bùi Tiến Dũng's family in áo dài for Lunar New Year 2024
On Tet (Lunar New Year) Eve, model Dianka and goalkeeper Bùi Tiến Dũng released a family photo set of the three of them in áo dài to welcome the Year of the Dragon (Giáp Thìn). The couple's son, Danil, who has just turned one, joined his parents for the spring shoot at Vạn Phúc Pagoda in Hà Đông, Hanoi.
The model said her son was delighted to be out with his parents. They also want him to gradually take in the beauty of traditional Tet. Dianka, who is Ukrainian, has lived in Vietnam for four years and has been a daughter-in-law for two. She says she loves the country, its people and its culture for their warmth and friendliness. Every Tet, she feels joyful and loves joining the crowds out on the streets. "I see Vietnam as my second home. What I like most is the people, because everyone smiles a lot and is friendly, welcoming and ready to help foreigners. My parents-in-law are very kind and down-to-earth," she said.
Dianka said she once knew little about Vietnamese culture and felt the pressure of being a daughter-in-law in a foreign land. Bùi Tiến Dũng patiently guided her step by step, teaching her both Vietnamese and household skills. Now she has settled in and feels confident in many ways about being the woman of the house. She also keeps working on her Vietnamese so she can talk with everyone. She loves visiting her husband's hometown in Thanh Hóa because everything feels peaceful there. This Tet, she and her husband are also taking their son home to gather with his paternal grandparents and relatives.
